Slabs are quarried straight from the gut rock of mountains in several countries around the world, Unworked slabs are cut into all sizes and shapes for several different purposes. Generally countertop slabs range upward from two cm thick, although slab material can be thinner than this for specialty applications. Alexander's Stone art is dedicated to fabrication and installation and we do not supply a full range of stone to our customers by ourselves. Because our stock is limited to remnants, we have listed the stone importers we work with in the Seattle area on the right. These suppliers are wholesale importers and do not sell to the public, though they will gladly identify and hold any stone you choose for the fabricator/installer you have selected. Please make sure to take note of the exact names of the materials you wish to have bid and we will gladly give you an estimate for your project, if necessary using optional materials to help you control cost vs. preference. |
